Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

AirReps is developed and operated by Artem Pashkov, based in Spain. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at info@airreps.app.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Motion Data

AirReps uses AirPods motion sensors (accelerometer and gyroscope) to detect exercise repetitions. All motion data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to any server.

2.2 Workout Data

Your workout history (exercise type, rep counts, duration, dates) is stored locally on your device and optionally synced via Apple iCloud if enabled. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

2.3 Apple Health

With your permission, AirReps reads body stats (weight, height) and writes workout data to Apple Health. This data stays within the Apple Health ecosystem and is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

2.4 Game Center

If you sign in to Game Center, your display name and scores are shared with Apple's Game Center service for leaderboards. This is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

2.5 Waitlist (Email)

If you join our waitlist on the website, we collect your email address. It is stored securely in Supabase and used solely to notify you about AirReps launch updates. We do not share your email with third parties.

2.6 Analytics

We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how the app is used (e.g., which features are popular, session frequency). Analytics data is anonymized and does not include personal information or workout details.

2.7 Crash Reporting

We use Sentry for crash reporting to identify and fix bugs. Crash reports may include device type, OS version, and stack traces. They do not include personal data or workout content.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To count exercise repetitions (on-device only)
• To store and sync your workout history (on-device and iCloud)
• To display leaderboards (via Game Center)
• To improve the app through anonymized analytics
• To fix bugs through crash reports
• To notify waitlist subscribers about launch updates

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. The only external services that receive data are:

• Apple — iCloud sync, Game Center, Apple Health (your choice to enable)
• PostHog — anonymized usage analytics
• Sentry — crash reports (no personal data)
• Supabase — waitlist email storage

5. Data Storage & Security

Workout data is stored locally on your device and optionally in your private iCloud container. Waitlist emails are stored in Supabase with row-level security enabled. All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

As a resident of the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of your personal data
• Rectification — correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — request deletion of your data
• Portability — receive your data in a portable format
• Object — object to processing of your data
• Withdraw consent — at any time for optional features

7. Data Retention

Workout data is stored on your device and iCloud as long as you use the app. Deleting the app removes local data. Waitlist emails are retained until launch, after which they are deleted. You can request removal at any time by emailing us.

8. Children's Privacy

AirReps is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of AirReps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
